About
Bridging two worlds: European quality & American yachting
At W Yacht Services, we call it "Double YOU."
The first YOU is the yacht in the United States, requiring reliable service, technical support, upgrades, and project execution.
The second YOU is the European supplier, OEM, or specialist, known for engineering, craftsmanship, innovation, and the high standards that define the world's leading superyacht projects.
And the W?
That is where the two YOU's come together.
W Yacht Services was founded to bridge the gap between European yacht suppliers and the American market. Acting as a local presence in the United States, we help ensure communication remains clear, projects remain aligned, and technical standards are maintained throughout service, refit, troubleshooting, and support activities.
And it also happens to be how you'll remember my name: sWen with a W, not a V. Easy to find in your phone.
My name is Swen van Wijngaarden, founder of W Yacht Services.
Having worked within the Dutch superyacht industry, including at Feadship and Akerboom Yacht Equipment, I have experienced firsthand the level of preparation, engineering, quality control, and attention to detail required to deliver projects at the highest level.
W Yacht Services is built around understanding systems, understanding OEM expectations, and ensuring technical work is executed correctly, professionally, and with long-term reliability in mind.
For yacht owners, captains, management companies, and refit yards, W Yacht Services provides a knowledgeable local partner who understands both the technical and organizational challenges involved in complex projects.
For suppliers, OEMs, and technical specialists, W Yacht Services serves as an extension of your team in the United States, providing local representation, project preparation, technical support, troubleshooting assistance, vendor coordination, parts logistics, site attendance, and direct communication with clients and stakeholders.
Whether supporting an OEM service visit, preparing a refit project, coordinating local vendors, receiving and managing parts, assisting with technical troubleshooting, or executing specialized service work, the goal remains the same:
Protect quality.
Maintain standards.
Communicate clearly.
Deliver solutions that support long-term reliability.
One point of contact.
Two worlds.
